Technology knowledge: Router – Cisco; Switch – Cisco; Meraki Wireless; WLAN – Cisco; IPAM/DNS/DHCP
Qualifications
10+ years of network administration in a large enterprise
Cisco and other industry-standard networking certifications
Experience in system fault tolerance, network design, business continuity, disaster recovery; analysis, implementation, troubleshooting, and documentation of LAN/WAN architecture; IP services
Excellent communication (verbal and written)
Experience representing in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
Expert‑level knowledge of troubleshooting, implementing, optimizing, and testing static and dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and interpreting complex route table problems
Hands‑on experience with Cisco devices (routers, switches L2/L3) and Meraki products
Handling escalated troubleshooting calls for routing, switching, wireless, Meraki, and VPN
Hands‑on experience with Cisco Nexus 9K/7K/5K/2K series switches
Experience with Cisco wireless LAN technologies
Additional cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or other) is an advantage
