Position Overview We are seeking a Plant Controls Cybersecurity Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in PLC programming and automation systems within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between industrial control engineering and cybersecurity, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement PLC and automation control systems for manufacturing processes.
Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial control systems (ICS) and HMI/SCADA systems.
Support cybersecurity implementation and best practices across plant control networks.
Collaborate with IT and OT teams to secure industrial assets, network architecture, and data flows.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in remediation of control system risks.
Maintain compliance with industrial cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443, NIST).
Provide technical support, documentation, and training for control system and cybersecurity processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or related field.
3–7 years of hands‑on experience with PLC programming, automation, and plant control systems.
Proficiency with major PLC platforms (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi).
Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profinet, etc.).
Strong understanding of network fundamentals and industrial system security principles.
