As a Software Factory DevOps Engineer on our team, you’ll pipeline our software development from requirements to testing in production. You’ll incorporate automation and cloud resources to minimize repetitive tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best—innovate. You’ll work together with fellow professionals to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting.

Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software development for information technology systems
Experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
Experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
Experience building enterprise cloud-native solutions
Experience with platforms, application level, pipeline build and development, and automation to support build and testing
Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems and 4+ years of experience in software engineering, or 9+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
Nice to Have
Experience with Space Systems or Satellite Communications
Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure
Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
Experience creating and improving continuous deployment tools
Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Linux Shell Script
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree
Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. TS/SCI clearance is also an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits Salary at Booz Allen is determined by multiple factors. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
