Position Overview
Northrop Grumman is seeking a
Staff Systems Engineer, Systems Architect
(T05 Level) for the Sentinel program. The role will be located in
Roy, Utah
and may offer competitive relocation assistance. The successful applicant will be a primary architecture expert supporting major program events such as First Flight and Critical Design Review. The position requires a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance issued within the last 6 years. Key Responsibilities
Act as a primary architecture expert on the Sentinel program, working closely with the Architecture Lead to establish vision for architecture model products and digital integration points. Develop and assess changes to governance and process, coordinate approach and process with sub-integrated-product-teams (IPTs) and program-level leadership. Review content for quality and compliance, train team members, and tackle challenging missile architecture problems. Generate and maintain SysML and DoDAF models in Cameo EA; interface with subject matter experts, analysts, architects, designers, system engineers, and specialty engineers to capture GBSD structure and behavior. Participate in technical planning, verification and validation development, cost and risk considerations, and requirements analyses for integrated systems. Prepare and present content in internal reviews and customer CDRs, support CDRL deliveries. Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes for model development, tool integration, and team integration. Basic Qualifications
12 years of related work experience with a Bachelor's Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) degree; 10 years with a Master's; or 8 years with a PhD. U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance issued within the last 6 years. Minimum 3 years Cameo EA experience (or similar tool). Minimum 2 years of DOORS or related experience. Experience integrating requirements, performance, and interface into MBSE tools. Preferred Qualifications
Active TS//SCI Clearance with SAP clearance. Significant experience with Cameo model governance development and refinement. Experience with DoDAF and UPDM or UAF Profiles. Experience with Software modeling. 4+ years of Systems engineering experience. Experience with complex system development on large programs. ICBM/Missile experience. Experience with flight hardware.
