Associate Laboratory Assistant - Clinical Lab

As the Lab Aide I, you will be responsible for completing and maintaining competency in phlebotomy, specimen processing, and basic client service tasks. You will obtain blood samples from patients in a timely manner following proper collection policy, ensuring phlebotomy competency within 3 months. You will also ensure appropriate labeling and handling of specimens with competency required after 3 months. Basic client service tasks include requisition entry, checks, and filing, with competency achieved after 1 year. You will perform additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
Phlebotomy certificate upon hire.
Less than one year experience as a phlebotomist and/or completion of a Phlebotomy program.
