Job Summary The key role of the Channel Marketing Manager is to partner with the Executive Director of Marketing in leading the growth and development of the Clé de Peau Beauté brand for the US market. The Manager will develop and implement marketing strategies to build brand awareness, drive traffic in Clé de Peau Beauté’s distribution channels, maximize growth potential, drive long‑term profitability and build brand equity.
What You Will Do
Channel Strategy & Management: Lead the development and execution of marketing plans, sampling strategy, product launches, promotional activities and merchandising strategy across retail channels.
Define and implement retailer marketing programs, including presentations, calendars, merchandising, promotional programs, sampling and ensuring channel‑specific needs are met.
Partner with the Media team to develop channel‑specific advertising, promotions and supporting content in collaboration with brand marketing, e‑commerce and creative.
Identify and execute strategic marketing opportunities exclusive to the channel as well as in‑store and online branding programs, in partnership with sales, events, visual merchandising and integrated marketing.
Sales & Performance Management: Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve productivity and enhance customer omnichannel experience. Collaborate with sales to develop tailored activations that resonate with the customer base and align with brand objectives.
Analyze SKU and category performance in the channel to identify opportunities to grow key categories in each account and provide analysis and feedback on major product launches and core business performance.
Marketing & Promotional Activations: Oversee the execution of product launches and promotional activities in store and online and collaborate with events on seasonal events. Identify opportunities to optimize marketing programs, initiate merchandising and visual opportunities specific to stores with the visual merchandising team and monitor best practices in the beauty and luxury sector.
Reporting & Budget: Analyze marketing campaign performance, track the success of each initiative, gather quantitative and qualitative feedback, determine performance and impact, provide recommendations for program improvements and manage marketing budgets to ensure plans are executed on time and within financial guidelines.
Team Management: Lead direct reports, including the Channel Marketing Coordinator and an intern.
Who You Are
5+ years of marketing experience in beauty, retail or luxury.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required.
Exceptional analytical skills and financial acumen.
Detail oriented, master of execution with meticulous organization, excellent communication and consistent follow‑through.
Strong leadership skills, ability to work with cross‑functional departments and a dynamic, flexible, positive attitude.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and possess strong oral, written, communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of current marketing trends, media industry news, competitive marketplace and retail innovation.
Experience with Circana (formerly NPD) reporting is a plus.
