Overview
Senior Accountant Lee Wesley is seeking a Senior Accountant who is detail-oriented, hands-on, and motivated to keep our financial operations accurate and efficient as we continue to grow. The Senior Accountant will handle the day-to-day accounting operations while also providing guidance to junior staff and partnering directly with the CFO. This role is highly hands-on preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and reports but also includes leadership in ensuring accuracy, process improvements, and accountability within the finance function. Responsibilities
Manage general ledger activity. Lead the monthly close process. Oversee AP/AR processing. Ensure compliance with GAAP. Supervise and mentor accounting staff. Prepare variance analysis. Support budgeting and forecasting efforts. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency. Qualifications
Qualifications include a bachelor''s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, 57 years of progressive accounting experience, hands-on experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close, strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls, proficiency in accounting software, ability to work independently while providing oversight to junior staff, and strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
