Cyber SDC - OT Architecture & Governance Issues/Defect - Senior - Consulting
Location: Anywhere in Country
Summary: As an OT Defects Senior Architecture & Governance professional, you will provide operational support for issue management and defect creation, monitoring, and tracking, ensuring OT systems align with security and compliance while supporting OT architecture governance.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to secure, comply, and improve OT systems through structured governance and defect management.
Provide defect and issue tracking, architecture oversight, and approvals for OT systems, VLANs, and controls, ensuring designs meet security, compliance, and operational requirements.
Lead defect intake, triage, remediation cycles, and track and report progress on defect resolution.
Support change-review boards and architecture decision forums.
Partner with OT architects, system owners, cybersecurity teams, and DECA to resolve issues, guiding site teams on governance and defect matters.
Communicate clearly across technical and non‑technical audiences.
Identify gaps in documentation, propose updates, and contribute to standard work and LEAN process improvements.
Conduct risk assessments, impact analyses for OT system changes, and stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Experience in Operational Technology (OT) environments, governance, and issue or defect management.
Knowledge of manufacturing, shopfloor, industrial control systems, building management, safety, quality, and production considerations.
Familiarity with NERC CIP, NIS, CIS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443 and the ability to apply them to OT environments.
Strong understanding of security architecture design, and technologies such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, AI/ML, and ZTA.
Experience with ServiceNow, audit board, SOPs, trackers, and reporting templates.
Ability to analyze problems, lead programs and projects, assess complex OT architectures, and propose effective solutions.
Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and precision in tracking defects, documenting architecture standards, and ensuring compliance reporting.
