Responsibilities
Anticipate and accommodate the needs of guests.
Handle all allergy and dietary restrictions and modifications.
Assist in taking inventory and creating daily prep list.
Accurately follow orders received from POS system and expeditor directions.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, kitchen, and venue.
Follow supervisor instructions, communicate and support co-workers.
Possess in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes to execute to company standards.
Comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
Check cover counts, BEOs, and fire sheets.
Properly set station, stock supplies, set mise en place, wipe down, opening and closing procedures.
Report breakage and damage to management.
Attend daily pre-service meetings, training sessions, and departmental meetings.
Demonstrate positive, professional attitude and knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality.
Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous pastry experience preferred.
Experience in a high-volume culinary operation preferred.
Ability to write and verbally communicate.
Must be able to move quickly, push and lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods.
Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
Maintain professional appearance and adhere to company standards.
Must be effective as part of a team and handle confidential information.
Training Requirements
Tao Group Hospitality in-venue pastry training.
