Pay: $130-160K DOE
Position Overview: Ledgent Finance & Accounting is recruiting a seasoned Controller for a manufacturing client in Benicia, CA. Full‑time, onsite. Ideal for a professional with strong background in manufacturing finance and cost accounting.
Base pay range $130,000/yr - $160,000/yr
Key Duties
Oversee daily accounting functions and ensure smooth financial operations.
Generate monthly financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, forecasts, and strategic insights.
Provide financial guidance and analysis to support executive decision‑making.
Develop and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures to support business growth.
Contribute to long‑term financial planning and strategy.
Present financial data and performance metrics to stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
Manage cash flow activities, including receivables and payables.
Administer payroll processing for salaried employees.
Supervise and support the finance team, fostering professional development.
Candidate Profile
Industry Experience: Must have a background in manufacturing.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
Experience: 10-20 years in a Controller role within a manufacturing setting.
Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Skilled in interpreting financial data and identifying trends.
Proven leadership and communication abilities.
Proficient in financial systems, including ERP platforms and Crystal Reports.
Knowledge of compliance standards and financial regulations.
