UM Shore Medical Group Gastroenterology Position UM Shore Medical Group gastroenterologists diagnose, treat and prevent disorders of the digestive system, including the esophagus, gallbladder, stomach, small intestine and colon. Our specialists are skilled in performing procedures related to the digestive tract and liver and provide medical, surgical and diagnostic services for all gastrointestinal disorders.

Barrett’s Esophagus

Colon, pancreatic and stomach cancers

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

Inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis

Procedures: Colonoscopy, Upper Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, ERCP, PEG and HNPCC testing

Job Specifics

Well established practice operational for over 40 years

4 Physician and 4 NP practice

1:5 call schedule

Health System employee

Endoscopy Center buy-in opportunity

ERCP training preferred but not required

Qualifications

Medical Degree

Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine

Completion of Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology

Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one

Compensation

Base salary: $575,698 annually

Sign-on bonus: $20–25K

Housing allowance up to $50K toward home purchase within first year

Relocation assistance up to $10K

Productivity-based bonus structure

All compensation reflective of median MGMA and SullivanCotter benchmarks
