Machine Learning Scientist II - Post Booking Experiences

In This Role You Will
Implement & Validate ML Models: you will implement, test, and validate machine learning models, taking features from concept to production.
Test, Learn, and Iterate: design and analyze rigorous A/B tests to validate your models and quantify their business impact. Proactively monitor model performance and iterate to improve it.
Collaborate and Learn: partner effectively with senior scientists, engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and contribute to solutions. You will be expected to continuously learn and develop a deeper understanding of our data, infrastructure, and problem space.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD or MS in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Physics) or equivalent experience.
1+ years of hands‑on industry experience building and deploying machine learning models to solve real‑world problems.
Strong foundation in machine learning theory and core statistical concepts.
Proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (e.g., scikit‑learn, pandas).
Experience working with tools needed to measure impact including experimental design (A/B testing).
Data querying experience with SQL is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Domain knowledge in customer service, recommendation systems, operational applications of ML, and/or e‑commerce.
Experience building and deploying models using GenAI/LLM technologies.
Base pay range: $112,000.00/yr - $156,500.00/yr. The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $112,000.00 to $156,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $179,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Location: Seattle, WA.
