Base pay range: $200,000.00/yr - $303,000.00/yr.
When you join the Valuation practice within our Financial Advisory (FA) segment, you will be part of a team working hand-in-hand with our clients to prepare complex valuation analysis and financial models to address a range of reporting and strategic requirements. The work is dynamic and highly visible.
Responsibilities
Perform valuations of financial instruments such as debentures with embedded derivatives, SAFE notes, structured products, contingent considerations, management equity plans and other complex securities.
Prepare valuation reports in support of financial and tax reporting, disputes, taxation, corporate planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and corporate governance.
Lead valuations teams, coaching and supporting team development and sharing technical knowledge across the Riveron network.
Establish credibility with existing clients by demonstrating subject matter expertise.
Contribute to pursuit teams and proposal development including innovative approaches and methodologies tailored to address specific client requirements.
Lead business development efforts to grow and expand Riveron’s Valuation Practice on a national scale.
Proactively take ownership of tasks and assignments, accepting responsibility for outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, applied mathematics, financial engineering, or other related field.
CFA, FRM, or PRM certified.
10+ years of experience in valuations, leveraged finance, banking or risk management in a consulting/advisory role, preferably Big 4.
Experience building and utilizing mathematical models for valuing complex financial instruments, including option pricing, Monte Carlo simulations and lattice models.
Extensive knowledge of private investments and capital markets.
Proven ability to manage project workflows and deliver in a timely manner.
Experience preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
Experience with supervising diverse teams, seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation while developing trust.
Experience with coaching staff, providing meaningful written and verbal feedback.
Strong commitment to identifying and addressing client needs and building, maintaining, and utilizing client networks and community involvement.
