Overview
This position is remote and based in the US.
The Contract Management team assists the organization to control costs, drive service excellence, and mitigate risks to gain increased value from our vendors throughout the contract management lifecycle. The team is responsible for the review, negotiation, execution, tracking, and management of Foot Locker’s contracts internationally in areas like Technology (software, hardware, and services), Supply Chain (transportation, warehousing, and logistics), Procurement (travel, construction, and supplies), Digital Markting, Corporate Services, Human Resources, and more! The team works with a variety of agreement types including but not limited to : Non-Disclosure Agreements, Master Services Agreements, Professional Services Agreements, Sales / Purchasing Agreements, Sub-contracts, and Licensing Agreements.

The role will work in a collaborative environment that values creative thinking, problem solving, consistency, intellectual curiosity, and a growth mindset. The Contract Administrator will collaborate closely with professionals across the globe to continue to educate on standardize resources, tools, and policies. The role will work closely with internal business and IT stakeholders, project managers, vendor management, finance, procurement, legal, outside counsel, and external vendor partners to ensure all agreements meet Foot Locker’s contracting standards and requirements.
The Contract Administrator role is responsible for the full contract management lifecycle including the negotiation of business and commercial terms and conditions as well as pricing.
Responsibilities
Administration of contracts enterprise wide and ensure that contracts are in compliance with legal requirements, finance policies and controls, privacy regulations, business specifications, and company policies and procedures
Negotiate new contracts and renewals from various areas of the organization, producing favorable terms and conditions and cost savings Contracts can either be Foot Locker or the supplier templates depending on the product, service, or solution
Provide training as a subject matter expert on contracts, contract management policy, and SAP Ariba / CLM technology contract workflows
Suggest process improvements and efficiencies for the SAP Ariba / CLM tool to increase adoption
Maintain and enhance team related resource, tools, and documentation
Monitor and report on open contracts to key strategic audiences
Analyze and report on executive and program level SLAs and KPIs
Participate on special projects, ad hoc reporting, and perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ability to organize, prioritize and flourish in a high-volume workload and think logically through contractual issues and escalations.
Excellent communication skills. Ability to influence and drive alignment. Able to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at various levels of expertise on a global landscape.
Results-oriented, strategic thinker, able to work in both team environments and independently.
Able to achieve goals, self-motivate, take initiative, and operate with minimal supervision.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to draft reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership, business stakeholders, legal, outside counsel, and vendors.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate across a diverse cross-functional team.
Understanding of contract language including business and legal aspects.
Ability to balance legal / contractual issues with business risk.
Bachelor's Degree in Business related discipline and three or more years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Undergraduate courses in economics, negotiations, business management, finance, business law, and contract law are helpful.
Preferred but not required : Paralegal CertificationCertified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM)
Knowledge of contracting concepts and contract acquisition law and regulations are essential.
Experience in negotiating business and commercial terms, conditions, and pricing.
Expertise with contract requirements to negotiate critical terms and conditions.
Experience running contract management workflow in SAP Ariba or a similar e-procurement / CLM tool.
Knowledge leveraging DocuSign.
Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint skills.
Proven ability to manage contract lifecycle, including contract database and workflow.
Strong project management skills to manage multiple, complex contracts across multiple stakeholder groups.
Benefits The annual base salary range is 70,000-$85,000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
