Director of Student Affairs The Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences (DBSICS) seeks a Director of Student Affairs with commitment, motivation, and experience to develop and implement strategies. The Director will develop, administer, and evaluate programs to enhance academic advising and student experience, provide direction to professional academic advisors, interact with other campus units, and provide support to the school’s administration, faculty, and students.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to enhance academic advising and student experience.
Provide direction to professional academic advisors and interact with campus units.
Manage the undergraduate student academic advising unit and formulate policies and procedures.
Develop long‑term organizational and strategic goals for the unit.
Manage finances and human resources for the office.
Establish goals and policies to meet UCI and UC growth trends and targets, including population demographics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training.
Experience in academic advising or student affairs.
Compensation
Annual salary range: $88,000 - $106,400.
