As a Reliability Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies in Minneapolis, you will be responsible for testing, evaluating, and improving complex systems for aerospace applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge aerospace technologies that shape the future of navigation and air travel. Your work will directly impact the safety, efficiency, and reliability of aircraft, missiles, rockets, and satellites, and will contribute directly to the long life and high reliability of complex systems used on commercial aircraft, defense applications, and in space navigation.
Key Responsibilities
Test and evaluate electro-optical systems for aerospace applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful determination of root cause and implementation of corrective actions (RCCA)
Conduct testing and evaluate sophisticated system performance
Ensure compliance with product and customer requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
Prioritize and negotiate test schedules with factory personnel
Track and maintain regular progress on items under test
Summarize and present findings to customer
U.S. Person Requirements Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
Strong knowledge of design principles and methodologies
Experience with system testing and validation

Experience in the aerospace industry
Experience with pursuit of root cause and corrective action (RCCA)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment
