Job Description Summary:

Seeking an experienced and innovative engineering leader to oversee global embedded systems development within its advanced power electronics division. This role leads a growing team of highly skilled engineers focused on firmware, software, and digital control solutions for complex high-voltage power supplies used in medical, industrial, semiconductor, and analytical equipment. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership, guiding product design, firmware development, and technology innovation while mentoring a dynamic engineering team and collaborating across global functions.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee all embedded systems development activities, ensuring alignment with product and technology goals.

Provide technical leadership, direction, and daily coaching to the embedded systems engineering team.

Manage project planning, workload prioritization, and resource allocation for firmware and software initiatives.

Lead design, development, and testing of embedded firmware/software for high-voltage power systems.

Drive product innovation using RTOS, bare-metal firmware, and advanced control architectures.

Collaborate with hardware, quality, manufacturing, and application teams to ensure product excellence.

Oversee preparation of technical documentation, reports, and release materials.

Guide implementation of revision control and release management processes.

Partner with global engineering, sales, and operations teams to align technology strategies with business goals.

Engage in long-term planning, product roadmapping, and new technology evaluation.

Foster a culture of performance, learning, and collaboration across the engineering organization.

Experience You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).

15+ years of experience in power electronics, embedded systems, and firmware/software development.

7+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams in global, manufacturing-driven organizations.

Expertise in power conversion, analog/magnetic design principles, and control systems.

Hands‑on experience with DSPs, FPGAs, CPLDs, MCUs, and embedded Linux/RTOS development.

Strong background in C, Verilog, VHDL, C#, Java, and related control system programming.

Demonstrated success in project management, cross‑functional collaboration, and product development.

Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%).
