Description We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a 3‑month contract‑to‑hire opportunity supporting both Marketing Campaign and credit card origination teams. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in advanced analytics and survey analysis.

Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python
Experience with Tableau for data visualization
Strong data wrangling and factor analysis capabilities
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Up‑to‑date knowledge of machine learning and data analytics tools and techniques
Strong understanding of predictive modeling methodologies
Experience with structured and unstructured data
Proficiency in R/RStudio, Python, SAS, SQL, and NoSQL
Familiarity with Cloud ML technologies (e.g., AWS SageMaker) and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit‑learn, caret)
Advanced statistical methods: Bayesian networks, regression (linear/non‑linear), hierarchical and mixed models
Ability to communicate complex results to technical and non‑technical audiences
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently across multiple tasks
Strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity and outcome‑focused mindset
Professional presence and ability to build relationships across functions
Preferred Experience
Financial Services experience
1‑3 years of experience in machine learning, cloud computing, predictive modeling, and big data analysis
Experience with survey analysis is a plus
Education
Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related fields
