Key Responsibilities

Lead projects that establish new standards for AI/ML systems. Create novel tools and frameworks for AI/ML systems. Serve as a subject matter expert in the technical and sponsor communities for specific AI/ML techniques and applications of these techniques to a class of problems. Serve as a Principal Investigator/Project Director on sponsored projects.

Additional Responsibilities

Key visionary and portfolio lead for AES division of the Modern Software portfolio.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Technical leadership on DoD programs. Sponsor engagement, business development, and selling experience. External engagement to include professional societies, conferences, or other applicable technical exchange forums.

Preferred Qualifications

Active TS/SCI Clearance. Familiarity with data‑ops, ml‑ops, applied AI/ML to military applications, and advanced algorithms.

Travel Requirements

10 % – 25 % travel.

Education and Experience

Levels 5, 6: 14 yrs with Bachelor; 12 yrs with Master; 9 yrs with PhD.

U.S. Citizenship Requirements

Candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Clearance Type Required

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.
