Position: Splunk Engineer
Location: Baltimore, MD
Job Description:
5+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise, handling multi‑TB daily data ingestion.
Strong expertise in SPL (Search Processing Language), search optimization, and object management.
2+ years of hands‑on Splunk SOAR (Phantom) playbook development experience.
Proficiency in Python (JSON/XML parsing, API integration, regex).
Familiarity with PowerShell and Bash scripting.
Solid understanding of SOC operations, cybersecurity fundamentals, and Unix/Linux systems.
Experience integrating REST APIs and handling various authentication mechanisms.
Working knowledge of networking topology, authentication systems, and Git/version control.
Splunk Certified Admin and Splunk SOAR Developer certifications preferred.
