St. Patrick Catholic Church, located in Lexington, VA, is looking for a
Director of Music and Liturgy .
St. Patrick Catholic Church seeks a practicing Catholic as full-time Director of Music and Liturgy to oversee and continue developing these ministries in a vibrant parish.
Primary responsibilities include music planning and preparation, keyboard accompaniment for liturgies, scheduling and preparation of cantors, directing the adult and youth choirs, managing the music and liturgy budgets, and overseeing further growth and development of the overall program.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in music or its equivalent is required. The ideal candidate should have significant organ and piano skills, vocal training, experience in a variety of musical styles, knowledge of traditional, classical and modern liturgical music, and the ability to collaborate with the pastor and parish staff.
