System Administrator II – First Financial Bank
First Financial Bank is seeking a self‑motivated System Administrator II to manage the desktop computing environment. The role emphasizes quality, reliability, and standards in software integrity.
Responsibilities
Automate software packaging, deployments, and repetitive tasks using PowerShell and the PowerShell Application Deployment Toolkit (PSADT).
Patch management for Windows, third‑party applications, and operating systems; monitor health of the SCCM environment.
Develop custom queries and reports using SQL, WQL, and SSRS; diagnose and resolve health issues.
Image management: create and deploy platform‑agnostic Windows images using MDT and SCCM; schedule and perform software upgrades.
Work with vendors, line‑of‑business owners, network administrators, system analysts, and programmers to troubleshoot applications and resolve system‑wide problems.
Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, application support, configuration, operations, and project requirements.
Provide instruction to end users and offer escalated support to internal customers.
Qualifications
Preferred degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management.
5+ years of IT experience; 3+ years with SCCM (Configuration Manager).
3+ years in automated software packaging and scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch).
In‑depth knowledge of Windows 7, 8.1, 10, Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016; strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies.
Experience designing, documenting, and writing deliverable plans for enterprise implementations; Visio diagramming and network documentation required.
Microsoft certifications and knowledge of Desktop Virtualization (VDI, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop) preferred.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills; collaborative team player.
Physical Requirements Frequently lift and carry up to 20 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs. Frequently sits, stands, walks; occasionally drives.
