This developer will work as part of the in-house implementation team to deliver timely, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions, covering all aspects of platform development, configuration, and deployment. The developer will be fully embedded within the project implementation team, contributing to end-to-end Salesforce development including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniStudio, Flows, and integrations. They will work closely with the Lead Technical Architect to ensure adherence to best practices, validate technical designs, and build solutions that are secure, performant, and aligned with business needs. Following implementation, the developer will transition into a support role, responsible for maintaining the platform, building new features, enhancing integrations, and ensuring stability through continuous improvements.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Flows, OmniStudio, and integration tools.
Pickup and enhance the work completed so far, while also designing and building new features from scratch to meet evolving business needs.
Configure and optimize Salesforce platform features to meet business requirements across Licensing, Permitting, and Inspection (LPI) and other public health workflows.
Collaborate with the Lead Technical Architect on solution design, technical validation, and peer code reviews.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and DevOps tools to ensure reliable and automated deployments.
Develop and enhance integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms like Mulesoft.
Contribute to data modeling, migration, and system interoperability ensuring accuracy and performance.
Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support UAT cycles to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Provide post-implementation support, including bug fixes, enhancements, environment maintenance, user provisioning, and platform performance tuning.
Maintain documentation of technical specifications, design decisions, and deployment processes for long-term sustainability.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Public Sector Solutions preferred).
Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, OmniStudio (Integration Procedures, FlexCards, DataRaptors, OmniScripts).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Salesforce DevOps practices.
Proven ability to design solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
Knowledge of Salesforce security architecture (profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, platform limits).
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication skills, with ability to collaborate across teams and document solutions.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent professional experience) Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Preferred).
Work Environment
Requires reliable internet connection and ability to participate in virtual meetings.
Requires ability to participate in in‑person meetings and workshops when scheduled.
