Senior Accounting Manager (Temp to Perm Opportunity)
A fast-growing, publicly traded technology company in the urban air mobility sector is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to support its global accounting operations and financial reporting functions. This is a temporary role through mid‑March, with the potential to convert to a permanent position. The role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to SEC reporting, audits, and process improvements within a dynamic, high‑growth environment. Responsibilities
Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation. Assist with preparation of consolidated financial statements and SEC reporting deliverables (10‑Qs, 10‑Ks). Support international, state, and local statutory, regulatory, and tax filings. Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and the annual audit. Review and mentor staff accountants, ensuring strong internal controls and process consistency. Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, and Operations to ensure data accuracy and compliance. Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements as the company scales. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required;
CPA strongly preferred. 8–20 years of progressive accounting experience , ideally from a public/private mix or a publicly traded company. Solid understanding of
U.S. GAAP
and internal control frameworks. Experience managing close and consolidation processes across multiple entities. Strong Excel and ERP skills ( NetSuite a plus ). Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive, with strong leadership and communication skills. Must be comfortable working
onsite 5 days per week
in Hudson Yards. About the Opportunity
