Overview Mid Identity Analyst at BTS, Quantico, VA.

Responsibilities

Conduct multi‑intelligence triage, research, exploitation, organization, prioritization, analysis production, and dissemination to support national security objectives.

Provide expertise in all facets of I2 analysis, including biometric, forensic, face & image analysis, cellular exploitation (CELLEX), document & media exploitation (DOMEX), and I2 training.

Develop finished intelligence, biometric/biographic‑related analysis reports, SIGINT or CELLEX‑related reports, DOMEX derived reports, all‑source analysis reports, analytic briefings, RFI responses, training material, and future analytical products.

Exploit identity‑related information, all‑source/multi‑intelligence information, cellular‑derived information, and SIGINT to produce all‑source intelligence products in a 24/7/365‑366 shift environment.

Utilize DONISIS, BI2R, or other systems for research and exploitation.

Ensure reports are intelligible, cogent, comprehensive, and properly classified.

Demonstrate working knowledge of Electronic Fingerprint Transaction (EFT) files, Originating Identifiers (ORIs), Transaction Control Numbers (TCNs), and Biometric Identifiers (BIDs).

Provide 24/7/365‑366 support for DoD Biometric‑Enabled Watchlist (BEWL) and national watch‑listing operations, including encounter management, nomination support, change requests, removal requests, RFIs, and future BEWL products.

Coordinate reach‑back I2 support for deployed forces and perform supporting tasks to execute the I2 mission.

Provide tactical, operational, and national‑level I2 support to USMC forces and partner forces.

Manage/exploit I2 information using Microsoft Office Suite, tools, and databases.

Perform case management for all Department of Navy Identification and Screening Information System (DONISIS) submissions.

Monitor shared inboxes, forward pertinent emails to the I2AC leadership, and coordinate with DFBA, NGIC, NCIS, and FBI SIU.

Apply forensics methodologies to identify, extract, exploit, and disseminate I2 information from documents and media seized during military operations.

Extract facial images from media for further exploitation.

Establish processes for continual improvement of file/document selection and prioritization.

Maintain records of documents reviewed and assess identity attributes in images and videos for identity resolution.

Conduct 1:N, 1:1, image optimization, image/video authentication, metadata analysis, and geolocation tasks.

Conduct open‑source and classified research for high‑quality images & videos.

Utilize facial‑recognition software and databases, and maintain collaborative relationships with facial identification organizations.

Produce and disseminate Facial Comparison Analysis Reports (FCAR) or Media Exploitation (MEDEX) rollups.

Shift work: start and end times will be at the discretion of I2 Branch supervisors/leadership.

Qualifications

At least 8 years of relevant analysis experience, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited U.S. Department of Education‑recognized institution.

Proficiency with I2 analysis tools, biometric exploitation, and all‑source intelligence production.

Strong working knowledge of EFT files, ORIs, TCNs, BIDs, and biometric exploitation.

Availability for 24/7/365‑366 shift support and continuous I2 operations.
