The IT ERP Project Manager leads cross-functional teams to deliver ERP projects on time, within scope and budget, aligning project outcomes with business goals. This role involves comprehensive project management, stakeholder coordination, risk mitigation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The role reports to the IT Sr Director, Global Enterprise Applications. This role is hybrid and can be based in Andover, MA or Blauvelt, NY.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution:
Define and manage project scope, timeline, and budget in collaboration with stakeholders.
Lead project execution in accordance with the project plan, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
Provide overall project direction and serve as the liaison to the Steering Committee, senior leadership, and business process owners.
Conduct Phase Gate Reviews at key milestones to validate progress and business alignment.
Oversee business readiness assessments and cutover planning to ensure a smooth go-live.
Stakeholder & Resource Management:
Act as a bridge between corporate, regional, and local teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Supervise project business resources, ensuring their availability and proper allocation.
Plan and facilitate stakeholder engagement, providing regular updates and presentations to leadership.
Manage vendor relationships, third-party consultants, and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Risk, Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure GAP analysis completeness to validate ERP functionality against business requirements.
Oversee the creation of Blueprints/Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and process documentation.
Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR) and enforce security best practices.
Monitor performance metrics & KPIs to track project progress and post-go-live success.
Testing, Training & Change Management:
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring system functionality meets business needs.
Develop and oversee the end-user training strategy, including a "train-the-trainer" approach.
Support business process change management, ensuring smooth adoption and managing resistance.
Work with local teams to schedule participation in testing, training, and business readiness activities.
Post-Go-Live & Continuous Improvement:
Oversee post-implementation support (Hypercare) and manage issue resolution.
Develop knowledge retention strategies, ensuring system documentation and training materials are maintained.
Conduct post-implementation reviews, identifying lessons learned and areas for optimization.
Align ERP enhancements with future business needs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or comparable
5+ years of Project Management and Team Leadership experience a must.
Project management experience in cross-functional systems implementations ERP or equivalent midmarket ERP solutions a plus
Demonstrated skills in working effectively across business lines and partnering to meet common objectives
Capable of handling complex conversations with leaders of the organization
Action oriented, but detailed and organized
Business minded, business acumen, knows how the business works and is aware of external best practices
Interpersonal Savvy: good relationships up and down the organization, can drive change and tactfully resolve situations of conflict.

Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
Working Conditions While performing the job duties, you will be working in an office environment. You will be required to work in the office at the Andover, MA location three days per week (Monday - Wednesday) and can work remotely two days per week (Thursday and Friday).
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain seated/standing at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.
Ability to read documents and communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with management, coworkers, and third parties.
Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.
Ability to physically move around the office and occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment.
