What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Ensure credentialing activities comply with URAC, NCQA, state, and federal regulations
Perform review functions on files and initiate Primary Source Verification (PSV) and Secondary Source Verification (SSV)
Coordinate with various teams to complete and obtain all missing components of applications
Respond to calls and emails from internal and external customers regarding credentialing
Maintain confidentiality of provider information and ensure secure storage of credentialing files
What is Required (Qualifications):
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one (1) year of credentialing experience or knowledge
Intermediate computer skills with the ability to type 60+ WPM
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of URAC and NCQA accreditation credentialing standards
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
NAMSS certification in credentialing is preferred
Familiarity with the healthcare field and medical terminology
Knowledge of Medicaid & Medicare managed care
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
Experience in decision-making and problem-solving skills
