JR58750The Research Scientist role will lead the execution of technical service, network optimization, and new launches at our specialty cheese plants in Wisconsin.
The role requires the individual to work closely with operations, sales, QA, category management, marketing, and engineering.**How you will make contributions that matter...*** Provide technical product-process support to plants.
Ensure the constant improvement of quality (performance) of existing products, improvement of production systems and maximizing the utilization of raw materials.
Individual will have responsibility over 2-3 plants in the Saputo network while based in Wisconsin.
Technical support will be focused on blue cheese, hard Italian and goat cheese.* Develop recipes for new products/customers for specific business needs.
Modify current recipes to meet application requirements and provide sales/marketing/operations with specifications needed to make and sell the new product.* Partner with cross functional partners (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, QA etc.) to ensure an efficient and successful product launch or enhancement of new or existing products.
Manage portions of the execution that are related to product formulation or production processes.
Lead complex new product development and supports current product improvement.* Plan, run, and monitor plant trials, and train more junior scientists to conduct plant trials.
