In this role, you will lead and design experiences across our Human Capital Management offerings, using strong interaction and visual design skills to simplify complex processes. Responsibilities
Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web & mobile platforms
Deliver User Experience visions, UI specifications, wireframes and prototypes
Deliver multiple projects simultaneously through robust communication and time management skills
Provide design leadership within a team by collaborating with product managers, analysts, researchers, writers, and engineering partners to create outstanding customer experiences
Use facilitative leadership skills to drive the best outcome for stakeholders, resulting in others learning from you, and inspiring others to want to work with you
Effectively present and communicate your designs and rationale to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management
Participate in and promote a culture of detailed feedback rooted in first principles, design rationale, customer data, and industry best practices
Drive design decisions through data by partnering with our analytics team
Participate in and analyze extensive customer research to identify insights that will ultimately provide customer value and delight
Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite the complexity of the system
Leverage iterative prototyping to quickly test concepts and learn from customers using a variety of methodologies
Effectively communicate design approach and demonstrate strong storytelling techniques to inspire the team
Coaching and mentoring more junior designers on the team in craft and development of key hard and soft skills
Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in interaction design, product design, or related field
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant field. Equivalent work experience will be considered
Experience designing products with high degrees of complexity and cross-product interdependencies
Has worked in environments of experimentation where product goals may not have a clearly defined end state
Worked (even briefly) with or in large enterprises so the pace of working with these companies is not foreign
Experience working in organizations with robust design systems
Has worked on products from concept to code (end-to-end)
Portfolio that demonstrates products with complex end-to-end thinking and dependencies
Deep knowledge of design principles, methods, layout and composition, interpreting and applying a standardized design system
Deep empathy for customer problems and understanding of business needs and goals
Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive business results
Expert at conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing and prototyping
Strong attention to detail, organizational and documentation skills. Proficient in development hand-off, including QA-ing designs and articulating implementation details/specs in user stories
Mastery of Figma, auto-layout
Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
Strong portfolio demonstrating strong craft and collaborative process
Need to have:
Comfortable working with UxR (running user tests & analyzing data, experience with evaluative and generative research); prototyping; working on finance and data related projects/products
Nice to have:
Examples of user flow and information architecture diagrams
Illustration/Icon Design experience
Content design experience a plus
Experience with designing for financial software a plus

Compensation Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area, CA: $194,000 - $262,500.
