About the Role We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Platform Engineer with a demonstrated passion for technology. As a Platform Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the foundational platforms and tools that enable our product teams to develop, deploy, and operate our software efficiently and reliably. You’ll focus on creating a scalable and secure platform that abstracts infrastructure complexity, streamlines workflows, and improves developer experience.
This role requires deep technical expertise, a product-thinking mindset, and the ability to work autonomously in a distributed environment. You will collaborate closely with developers and other platform team members to deliver solutions that empower teams to move fast with confidence, and you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our infrastructure.

Requirements
7+ years of experience as a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineer, focusing on managing and optimizing cloud environments.
5+ years of experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a production environment.
Thorough experience with containerization and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm.
Thorough experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or others.
Thorough experience with Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and modern infrastructure best practices.
Proficiency in scripting and automation with Bash and Python.
Strong product mindset with a focus on usability, reliability, and efficiency.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical team members.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to gather requirements and translate them into scalable platform solutions.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently as part of a distributed team.
Must have The senior role is intended to take the technical leadership in this project. Apart from solid technical experience in the required technologies over many years, we expect excellent communication skills to discuss technical topics, which is crucial in a remote setup.
Nice to have
Experience with implementing GitOps practices and tooling.
Experience with network tools such as iptables, traceroute, ping, nmap, netstat, or tcpdump.
Experience with provisioning tools like Chef, Ansible, puppet, salt, and others.
Familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
Familiarity with observability frameworks like Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
Strong expertise in relational database administration, including performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, and database security.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of cross-platform issues.
Passion for documentation, operational excellence, and DevEx innovation.
Passion for company-wide security, with a strong desire to promote and implement security best practices across the organization.

meet with the team and have One-on-One conversations with everyone,
become introduced to our business and upcoming challenges, and
discuss the current objectives with our leadership team.
Your first month The first month is for orientation. You will get to know the codebase, understand the reasons behind past design decisions, and understand our organization's context. In detail, you will
work out all the particular areas of the codebase and functionality,
elaborate on how all the pieces fit together, and
explore how it relates to the product and value we provide our customers.
In the first quarter, you will become fully integrated into your team and be able to work with everybody on our ongoing projects. In line with this, you will also incorporate yourself into your chapter. You will
start bringing value to our customers,
moving our projects forward, step by step,
working towards your own goals raising the bar, and
participating in engineering team meetings, defining our principles, goals, and how we want to work.
This position is a permanent, full-time (40h/wk) role.
