Pre‑Sales Participate in phone conferences, in‑person meetings, validation, and proposal meetings with the Pre‑Sales Engineering Team to sign off on proposed solutions. Assist with creating and validating Scope of Work (SOW) as needed to help sales standardize Impact’s solutions that are sold for new and existing clients. Project Work Lead the execution of technical projects, demonstrating mastery of core technologies such as Windows Server, VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix, Enterprise Storage, Exchange, Firewalls, Switching, Routing, Wireless, Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365, Intune, and Azure. Serve as the primary technical resource and SME, resolving complex project challenges and ensuring seamless progression through all project phases. Ensure thorough and accurate documentation for all project deliverables, contributing to knowledge sharing and operational continuity. Take the lead in creating and refining SOPs for project execution, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Oversee and execute technical implementation, ensuring all project components align with company standards and meet client‑specific configurations. Conduct post‑project reviews to identify lessons learned and integrate process improvements to enhance future delivery. Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance and expertise to help them develop their technical skills. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to secure resources, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful project outcomes. Evaluate and refine project implementation delivery processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and quality. Things We Are Looking For

Minimum 7 years of experience as a Network or Systems Engineer, or less with a Master’s degree. Proven ability to guide and support junior engineers, helping them develop their technical skills and knowledge. Demonstrated ability to lead technical aspects of projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery. Server Administration

Expertise in Windows Server 2012‑2022, including deployment, management, and optimization. Advanced Active Directory architecture, design, maintenance, and Group Policy management knowledge and hands‑on experience. Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and Remote Desktop Services. SME level of proficiency in DNS, DHCP, and domain/network configurations. Comprehensive knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware, Hyper‑V, and Nutanix. Skilled in implementing and managing enterprise storage solutions, such as SAN, NAS, shared storage, iSCSI, and Fiber Channel.

Networking and Cloud Solutions

Strong proficiency with firewalls, switches, and networking technologies (e.g., Cisco, Cisco Meraki, HPE, Fortinet, Palo Alto, SonicWall, and other industry‑leading solutions). Advanced understanding of wireless, routing, and switching architectures.

Expertise in disaster recovery solutions, backup technologies, and business continuity planning. Extensive experience with Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Intune, and other cloud platforms. Mobile operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows). Excellent knowledge of our supported software and technologies. Tier 3 Advanced Support Skills. Why Join Us

At Impact, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $100,000‑$130,000, dependent on experience and expertise.
