Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to collect blood samples from patients, ensure proper handling and labeling, and maintain a safe and comfortable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture or capillary techniques
• Properly label, store, and transport specimens to the laboratory
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Provide a compassionate and reassuring experience for patients during procedures
• Assist with clerical tasks and inventory management as needed

Essential Skills and Abilities

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to comfort and assist patients
• Ability to follow strict procedures for sample handling and documentation
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
• Physical stamina for standing and performing repetitive tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification (preferred)
• Previous experience in a clinical or laboratory setting (preferred)
