Phlebotomist – Boise, ID (Contract)
Base pay range: $17.00/hr – $20.50/hr (based on experience)
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Mountain Time)
Hours per Week: 35
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections skillfully on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing according to standard operating procedures.
- Verify patient identification and ensure all specimen labels are accurate and verified in the patient’s presence.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation, including patient records and quality logs.
- Provide a welcoming, professional, and reassuring experience for patients during specimen collection.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
- Follow all company policies, including Employee Health & Safety, Dress Code, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.
- Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and quality service delivery.
- Be flexible and available to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, or on‑call shifts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (required).
Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
Note: Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
