Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is recruiting Phlebotomists to support the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System located at 11201 Benton St, Loma Linda, CA 92357. Services will be delivered to all requesting departments throughout the facility. Exceptional compensation packages with full benefits are available.
Responsibilities
- Performs proper specimen collection and labeling procedures for routine and special procedures.
- Executes all standard laboratory techniques related to phlebotomy such as correcting patient identification, proper collection of samples (volume, tube type, temperature and timing conditions) and collection of specimens for urinalysis, 24‑hour urines, toxicology and microbiological specimens.
- Accession all specimens in the receiving area and ensure timely transport and distribution of specimens to all sections of the laboratory for immediate processing and testing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (i.e. CPT I/II licensing in California).
- Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course (or equivalent).
- American Heart Association (AHA) CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 3 years as a patient service technician/phlebotomist.
- 2‑3 years of phlebotomist experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, urine drug screen collections, paternity collections, breath/saliva alcohol testing, LCM/Cyber Tools, TestCup, pediatric blood collections, and difficult draws.

Pay Range
$15.43 – $26.45 hourly
Physical Requirements
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
- Lift up to 20 lbs.
- Carry up to 40 lbs at a reasonable distance.
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
