Sustainability Data and Compliance Specialist
Location:
Houston, TX (Katy, TX area)
Salary:
$76,400.00 - $110,800.00
Schedule:
Hybrid schedule; 2 days remote per week

Focus:
The Sustainability Data & Compliance Specialist is responsible for collecting, validating, and consolidating sustainability-related data, including energy usage, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, water consumption, and waste generation. The role ensures that Olin's sustainability reporting for internal goals, external disclosures, or regulatory compliance is accurate, consistent, and auditable. The specialist prepares compliance reports and aligns sustainability data with reporting frameworks such as ESG, CDP, TCFD, SASB and CSRD. This position collaborates closely with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, operations, supply chain) and external partners (suppliers, auditors) to maintain robust, transparent, and credible sustainability reporting practices.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Chemical or related field; Master's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management preferred
2 years of professional experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or industrial sectors
Experience in data collection, validation, and assurance for sustainability reporting
Experience with ESG frameworks such as CDP, TCFD, SASB or CSRD. Familiarity with reporting frameworks and skilled in GHG accounting and tracking of energy, water, and waste data
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred
