Our client, a growing personal care and nutraceutical manufacturer in Pomona, CA area is seeking 2nd and 3rd shift QA Inspectors to join their team! We are looking for talented & hardworking individuals to join this dynamic organization.

Quality Inspector
Contract length:
1 year contract-to-hire
Shift:
2nd & 3rd available M-F 9pm-6am OR 2pm-10pm
Pay rate range:
$20-25/hr.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough visual and functional inspections of personal care products and other related items, to identify defects or discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including defect classification, quantities, and any other relevant data. Ensure that all personal care products comply with industry regulations and standards, such as FDA guidelines, and work towards continuous improvement in meeting these requirements. Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions to prevent defects and non-conformities. Communicate with the production team to address and resolve quality issues, deviations, or non-conformities, and report to the Quality Manager. Ensure the inspection area and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and organized for efficient and accurate inspections. Participate in root cause analysis investigations to determine the cause of defects and assist in developing preventive measures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a QC Inspector in a GMP regulated environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or deviations in product quality. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Analytical and problem-solving skills to assist in process improvement and root cause analysis. Good computer skills for recording and reporting inspection data. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized inspection area.
