Varies Based on Assignment This position is primarily responsible for developing new small business loan and deposit relationships, servicing existing small business relationships, maintaining a prospective customer call program, networking referral sources, conducting prospect blitzes, enhancing the visibility of the Bank in the community and working with business partners to solicit new business in conjunction with the Bank’s strategic and financial objectives. Primary Responsibilities

Develop new small business relationships and service current small business loan and deposit relationships by prospecting new customers, profiling to identify current and future needs, and maintaining a professional and attentive relationship with focus on small business deposits and cross-selling small business loans and other affiliate products and services. Contact customers to determine loan, deposit, insurance and investment needs. Sell small business products and services that meet identified needs according to the Bank’s pricing and fee schedule. Refer customers to specialists as identified. Cross-sell with Branch Manager, owner’s personal banking and employee accounts relationships. Maintain a prospective customer calling program using referrals and other methods to identify potential customers. Make cold calls to promote the Bank's products and services. Resolve customer problems to enhance existing business relationships and contribute to the Bank’s profit and growth objectives; refer unresolved issues to the appropriate resource and follow up to ensure resolution. Promote the Bank’s professional image through community involvement and by promoting products and services to meet customer needs within the current budget, product and service mix and time. Develop and maintain networking referral sources. Regularly contact sources, attend events, and entertain referrals to obtain referrals and grow new business relationships. Submit reports on business development activity, including calling activity, deposits, loans and referrals, in the prescribed method and in a timely manner. Collaborate as a leader among peers and coach to other Business Development Officers and Branch Managers; engage in joint calling with other line of business partners. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned. Understand, report, respond to, manage and monitor risk as required by F.N.B. Corporation’s risk management program. Education, Experience and Skills

Minimum Education: BA or BS Minimum Years Experience: 7 Special Skills: Excellent project management; excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal abilities; excellent customer service; proficiency with personal computer and job-related software; MS Word (Basic), MS Excel (Intermediate), MS PowerPoint (Basic); banking-related external sales experience; general knowledge of financial institution lending policies and procedures; experience in community and civic activities preferred.
