We are seeking a highly skilled

Category Manager

to join

Fetch . This role is a key stakeholder responsible for developing and executing strategies that maximize our service portfolio, drive sales growth, and enhance profitability. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize product assortment and ensure we meet customer needs. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset and is adept at leveraging data to inform decisions. You will engage with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure we are positioned effectively in the marketplace. Your ability to analyze data, understand consumer behavior, and translate insights into actionable strategies will be critical. You will help ensure the right products and quantities are available through the ecommerce platform, and you will bring strong data analysis, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr What you\'ll do

Category Management: Develop and execute category strategies to boost sales and profitability. Analyze market trends and consumer insights for product selection and pricing decisions. Partner with departments as needed to implement promotional activities and increase product visibility. Cultivate vendor relationships and negotiate advantageous contracts. Track category performance, modify strategies to achieve business goals. Perform competitive analysis to pinpoint growth and differentiation opportunities. Build and own pricing models (segmentation, demand/seasonality, elasticity) to recommend optimal prices by product/category. Design and measure promotional + seasonal pricing strategies (incl. bundles/cross-sell) with Marketing Analyze demand and adjust procurement orders proactively. Maintain ideal inventory levels to fulfill procurement and customer demands. Coordinate with operational teams in ensuring on-time material delivery. Formulate and deploy supply chain strategies aimed at cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Monitor and report supply chain KPIs and metrics for informed decision-making. Deliver weekly insights to stakeholders via performance dashboards What you\'ll need

Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of general work experience which should include at least 1-3 years of category management experience (or related roles). Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools to ensure objective, data-driven decision-making (SQL, Python, R) Exceptional management and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders. Proven experience in project management and executing strategic initiatives. Familiarity with data analytics platforms (Preferrably Looker) Proven experience as a Category Manager and/or Supply Planner or in a similar role within supply chain management. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of eCommerce systems and inventory control techniques.
