The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Worker is to transport merchandise to appropriate staging areas, fill merchandise orders, and re-stock inventory accurately and damage free. This position must meet or exceed set productivity standards. The Warehouse Worker works under general supervision, reporting to the CrossDock Supervisor and must work closely with other Warehouse Workers and Delivery Truck Drivers as a team. Responsibilities
Order Filling – Picks RS0 transfers using WMS RF guns to fill retail stores and Batch Transfers as appropriate. Transports and scans merchandise to appropriate staging areas. Stocking – Stocks product in designated areas using RF guns. Equipment – Upon training and certification, must operate materials handling equipment, including forklifts, reach lifts, and pallet jacks. Accuracy – Checks SKU number, part number, location code, and quantities picked when filling orders to ensure accuracy. Safety – Observes all safety procedures, regulations, rules, and instructions in performance of job duties. Must follow Company policies and procedures daily. Assists in physical inventories and cycle counting. Loads and unloads product as assigned. Utilizes computer to look up SDS. Cross trains to receive as necessary. Keeps assigned area organized, swept, clean, and hazard free. Perform other duties similar to those above as assigned by the store manager's supervisor or other qualified corporate or platform representative. Qualifications
One or more years of warehouse experience is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift merchandise up to 80 lbs for extended periods. Forklift/reach lift operation experience and/or ability to obtain OSH certification. Must adhere to Company attendance standards. Basic computer skills. Basic math skills and comfort with numbers. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Self-motivated, attentive to detail, and good time management skills. Positive communication and interpersonal skills. Problem solving abilities and attention to detail. This job is an hourly position (non-exempt from overtime).
