Job Summary The Manager of Business Process Transformation is a leadership position responsible for driving value and process transformation across Harley-Davidson Operations. This role will identify transformational opportunities to drive value leveraging industry best practices. In addition, this role will provide visibility, organization, and a clear help chain by standing up and maturing the Transformation Management Office (TMO). The Business Process Transformation Manager will also own specific initiatives to drive and deliver across Operations.
Job Responsibilities
Identifies opportunities to drive significant value for H-D leveraging benchmarks, best practices, external resources, and standard process/capability models
Develops appropriate PMO tools and processes to ensure visibility of key initiatives throughout H-D Operations
Drives standardized program management approaches across functions within H-D Operations
Executes key transformation initiatives as identified through the TMO
Stays current in knowledge related to industry best practices within Manufacturing, Supply Management, Operations Planning, Quality, and Logistics
Acts as a change agent and liaison across functions within H-D Operations
Oversees development of strategic frameworks and business cases for value growth or operating enhancements, working with cross-functional teams to outline the opportunity, rationale, and execution plans
Establishes strong partnerships with stakeholders in Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Digital to ensure alignment and to maximize all initiatives and opportunities
Identifies process automation opportunities across the organization to drive quality, improve cycle times, reduce expenses, and improve business outcomes through process design improvements and technology enablement
Partners with Digital and business stakeholders to implement new technology and update/enhance existing systems, focusing on H-D Operations
Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree Required
Experience Requirements Required
8+ years of related experience, preferably related to business innovation/transformation, process improvement, strategy development, leadership, or project management
Hands-on experience in leading a team of individual contributors with varying responsibilities
Proven track record of successful initiative/program execution
Experience designing and developing creative solutions to diverse business problems; experience in problem-solving a variety of issues
Display an intense focus on achieving both short- and long-term goals. Having the ability to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment
Track record of successful program/project delivery, strategy development, and governance in one or more of the following key Operations focus areas: Manufacturing, Supply Management, Operations Planning, Quality, and Logistics
Preferred
3+ years of leadership experience preferred
5+ years of People and/or Process Management experience
Project Management Professional (PMP), Green Belt, or Agile/Scrum Master Certification
Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or equivalent
Operational risk, system programming, and artificial intelligence experience is a plus
