We\'re looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Norwood Medical, a leading manufacturer of high-precision medical components. In this role, you\'ll be instrumental in upholding our commitment to patient safety and product excellence by managing the quality performance of our critical suppliers. Responsibilities

Qualify, audit, and monitor new and existing suppliers to ensure they meet our strict quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485). Lead investigations into supplier-related quality issues, using tools like 8D or 5 Whys to identify and resolve the root cause of non-conformances. Collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency. Conduct risk assessments of supplier processes and components, proactively identifying and mitigating potential quality risks. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all supplier quality activities, including audits, non-conformance reports, and performance metrics. Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or a related technical field. 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably within the medical device, aerospace, or a highly regulated industry. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820. Proven experience with supplier audits and corrective action processes. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA) is a plus. Summary
