Project Controls Manager/Power BI Specialist – WSP in the U.S. This opportunity is for a Project Controls Manager/Power BI Specialist based in Seattle, WA, with options to be based in Austin, TX, Denver, CO, or San Francisco, CA. You will work with the Project Controls & Technology Team to support project controls, cost management, and dashboard reporting to help meet client objectives and solve challenges. Responsibilities

Work under the direction of the Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and evaluation of project financial reporting. Develop Power BI dashboards to visualize project health and key performance indicators. Develop and implement effective cost control procedures to track project expenses, analyze cost variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to evaluate cost-saving options and recommend value-added changes to optimize project costs. Implement integrated project controls methodologies to align cost and schedule management efforts. Communicate project status, cost performance, and schedule updates to stakeholders to support informed decision-making. Attend project meetings with stakeholders to track and resolve cost and schedule management issues. Maintain financial reports for individual sub-tasks and provide roll-up reports summarizing subtasks. Review funding availability and procurement documentation to ensure conformance to approved budgets. Manage change order processes to assess impacts on costs and schedules. Participate in development of project estimates, budgets, forecasts, estimates to complete, and cost trends. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred. Advanced degrees or professional certifications in Engineering, Construction Management or related fields preferred. 10 years of combined field and office project controls experience on large-scale projects. Ability to work in a hybrid environment and be a self-starter. Experience with dashboard reporting and Microsoft Power BI is required. Extensive knowledge of cost estimating methodologies, cost control techniques, and schedule management best practices. Ability to interface with clients and participate in business development initiatives. Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills to operate in a high-pressure environment. Location and Relocation

Location options: Seattle, WA (primary); Austin, TX; Denver, CO; San Francisco, CA. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Compensation and Benefits
