Senior Quality Engineer

to join our dynamic team in Andover, MA. This role is critical in ensuring that our products meet rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering within a manufacturing or high-tech environment, with a passion for continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead and support quality activities across product development, manufacturing, and service operations, overseeing the product from concept throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure design for manufacturability and quality. Implement and maintain quality systems in compliance with ISO 9001, and other applicable standards. Support internal and external audits, including regulatory and customer audits. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and external quality issues. Facilitate risk management activities including FMEA, fishbone diagrams, and reliability analysis. Support quality initiatives, including performance monitoring and improvement plans. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork. Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct. Report quality problems or defects to management to implement corrective action and prevent recurrence. Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial desired), or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum 8 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in electronics, medical devices, or security systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex issues using quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, DOE, etc.). Experience with ISO 9001 and regulatory compliance (EU, TSA, etc.). Proficient in understanding and applying quality management systems (QMS), ERP systems, and statistical software. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence multi-disciplinary stakeholders. ASQ certification (CQE, CQA) is a plus.
