Job Summary Provides overall supervision of the organization in collaboration with and in the absence of the administrative/executive team. Makes administrative decisions, collaborates with Nursing Directors and other departments, ensures patient and staff safety, and oversees organizational functions. Assists with clinical functions and supervises activities of various personnel levels using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent: Required Master's Degree: Preferred Five years' technical experience: Preferred One year's experience in a critical care setting: Preferred Licenses/Certifications RN licensure in the state of practice: Required CPR/BLS certification: Required ACLS certification: Required (except Behavioral Health) Specialty or nursing administration certification: Preferred Facility Specific Certifications NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS): Required PALS certification: Required Essential Functions Supervises nursing personnel and operations, assesses patient conditions, manages hospital throughput, and participates in discharge planning. Supervises staff, assists with orientation, ensures compliance with laws and regulations, and manages staffing needs. Evaluates complaints, responds promptly, and collaborates with healthcare team members to maintain quality care. Performs other duties as assigned. Organizational Requirements All associates must receive required vaccinations and participate in E-Verify. Medical or religious exemptions may apply.
