Product Manager
to lead and manage our Unified Security Posture (USP) program that integrates our vulnerability data and processes into a cohesive framework to provide comprehensive protection and proactive risk management across Vanguard's digital infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you’ll define the mission and scope of the USP program, develop governance and operational processes, and serve as the product owner for our Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) tool, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, technology teams, and enterprise security objectives. This is a unique opportunity to build and evangelize a transformational security initiative from the ground up. Hybrid work (in office Tues‑Wed‑Thurs) can be based in either Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; or Malvern, PA (HQ). Core Responsibilities:
Defines and articulates the mission, objectives, and scope of the Unified Security Posture (USP) program in alignment with enterprise security strategy. Serves as the Product Owner for the ASPM platform, managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, and guiding development and implementation efforts. Develops, documents, and operationalizes governance, intake, and reporting processes that support the USP program. Influences and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience. Acts as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered. Influences and employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience. Drives the team’s engineering practices in development, continuous integration, and automated deployment. Participates in and influences ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. What it takes:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred. Minimum of eight years related business experience. Three years of leading large cross‑functional teams on major organizational projects preferred. Seniority level
