Job Description Seeking an Operator to perform external visual inspection, electrical test and/or environmental testing of semiconductor devices.
Essential Duties
Follow procedures for external visual inspection, dimensional verification, marking validation, workmanship standards, and document review.
Perform detailed visual inspections using a microscope to identify deformed leads, damaged packages, incorrect or illegible markings, and other physical defects.
Conduct External Visual Inspection and Pre-shipment Inspection to ensure products meet customer and internal quality standards.
Review marking criteria, solder joints, lead bends, and package integrity for compliance with specifications.
Operate environmental chambers (temperature, humidity, thermal shock, etc.) to perform stress testing on semiconductor devices.
Load, unload, and monitor devices under test (DUTs) according to defined procedures and test specifications.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation of test conditions, durations, and results.
Perform visual inspections and basic electrical checks on devices before and after environmental testing.
Support production test operations by preparing test hardware, loading devices into handlers, and verifying test setups.
Update and maintain inspection records and product status in the computer database accurately.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain workflow efficiency.
Adhere to cleanroom protocols and ESD safety procedures during product handling and inspection.
Qualifications
5+ years related experience or training related to the Semiconductor Industry.
Minimum basic math, communication, computer skills.
Read and understand instructions, production orders, and all other documentation used to control processes.
Ability to multi-task and handle difficult situations at times.
Must be a self-starter and take responsibility for assigned work.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift or move 5-10 lbs. frequently.
Salary Range $37,200.00-$49,600.00
