Overview LaMarca Construction is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Traveling Site Superintendent to oversee hotel renovation projects across the United States. This full-time, hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys extended travel, and can drive results while managing subcontractors and maintaining strong client relationships. Projects typically range from $500K to $3MM and last 70-100 days.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily on-site operations to meet project timelines and quality standards

Lead subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and on-site supervision

Ensure compliance with safety protocols, cleanliness, and jobsite organization

Oversee and document inspections, punch lists, and project milestones

Review plans, specifications, and subcontractor scopes of work

Identify issues proactively and collaborate with the Project Manager to resolve them

Ensure accurate execution of interior finish scopes (painting, flooring, millwork, plumbing, electrical)

Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders

Utilize construction management software and digital tools effectively

Qualifications

5-7+ years of experience as a superintendent on commercial renovation projects ($500K-$3MM)

Prior hotel renovation experience strongly preferred

Willingness to travel nationwide for 70-100 days at a time (6-7 days/week during project durations)

Strong leadership and field coordination skills

Spanish language fluency or proficiency strongly preferred (to communicate with Hispanic trade crews)

Proficient with computers and construction software

Strong understanding of interior scopes and quality standards

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

Valid driver’s license with a clean record

OSHA 10/30 is a plus

Compensation Pay Range:

$100,000-$110,000 per year (Salary + Commission)
