Develop deep understanding of the market and workflows professionals use to run their business through customer interviews, prospect research, and data analysis to identify high-value opportunities that increase 8am’s competitive advantage. Discovery & Collaboration:

Lead collaborative discovery with design and engineering to understand workflow pain points, co-owning problem identification, solution shaping, and outcome delivery. Strategy & ROI:

Lead strategy and vision for major initiatives, defining business cases and ROI of automating routine processes so professionals can scale their practice. AI-enabled Roadmaps:

Leverage experience bringing AI-powered solutions to market by aligning roadmaps with AI infrastructure teams. Outcome Driven Execution: Drive continuous problem-solving through data analysis, user feedback, and outcome measurement that directly demonstrates customer value from workflow automation. Lead cross-functional alignment around outcomes, ensuring product success is measured and progress tracked; take corrective action as needed. Collaborate with Product Operations, Data Intelligence, and Analytics to establish measurement frameworks and dashboards. Champion customer empathy while making strategic trade-offs when business and customer priorities conflict. Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence: Influence and articulate strategy with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, to build organizational alignment around your vision. Partner with Product Marketing and GTM teams to define commercialization strategies that maximize business outcomes and customer value. Work with Customer Success and GTM to drive adoption and change management, ensuring customers realize measurable efficiency gains and ROI from automated workflows. Mentor junior product managers and promote AI-driven discovery, validation, and delivery cycles. About you: 8–10+ years in product management within B2B SaaS, with a proven track record of bringing complex, strategic products to market, including productivity/workflow automation and transformational AI initiatives. Deep expertise in customer discovery methodologies and synthesizing insights into actionable product strategies. Hands-on experience partnering with UX designers and engineers to discover and deliver technology products. Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders without formal authority; strong cross-functional leadership. Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and deliver long-term growth initiatives in ambiguous environments. Business acumen to build compelling business cases and prioritize customer needs within business context. Analytical and communication skills to develop testable hypotheses and explain strategies clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with agile development and modern product tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma, analytics platforms; Claude, ChatGPT). Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows or drive innovation. Preferred based in Austin, Texas; fintech or professional services industry experience is a plus; experience with AI tool integration in product development is preferred.
