Overview
Automation Engineer, TS/SCI w/CI Poly, $110K - $220K + 15% 401k Millennial Software is seeking a Mid to Senior Level Automation Engineer with a strong interest in CI and Platform engineering to join our collaborative team supporting a Government customer. You’ll contribute to the design and development of the complete software lifecycle, from compiling to deploying to Operations. This is a great opportunity for a motivated engineer to grow technical skills across the full stack, with a focus on building a CI system that provides the team complete confidence that what is being deployed to Operations is fully tested to the best of our ability.
Essential Functions
Utilize expertise in Python dependency management to aid team in CI build management
Implement and maintain standardized Gitlab CI components used by the development team
Innovate and perform maintenance on Kubernetes Internal Development Platform (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes)
Work with Security POCs for OS level remediation actions
Manage AWS Console and resources
Requirements
Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
4+ years of relevant experience (or 2+ years with a Graduate Degree)
Experience with Gitlab CI
Experience with Deployment and debugging of Kubernetes
Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
Nice To Have
Strong grasp of system design principles and modern DevOps practices
Ability to present and articulate technical concepts to people unfamiliar with topics
Salary $110,000 - $220,000
