Qualifications* you will bring to the table:
4 to 10 years of project experience ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited degree in Civil Engineering A Professional Engineering License in the State of job posting or other states preferred or equivalent experience Advanced knowledge and skills of AutoCAD Civil 3D, proficient with WaterCAD, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, ArchGIS, as well as Bluebeam, Outlook, Microsoft Office. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work with engineering concepts in real world applications The ability to work independently as a project engineer on various projects Proficiency in technical writing The ability to take small to medium sized projects from conception to final design with little input from a senior engineer Did you know that some people hold back on applying to jobs if they don’t meet 100% of the listed requirements? As a Team Member at Cushing Terrell, you will*…
Prepare project plans and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Collaborate with other disciplines to produce preliminary concepts and drawings Complete cost estimates and research codes and/or jurisdictional requirements Develop positive external and internal client relationships and participate in meetings with either internal or external clients to determine project goals Prepare calculations, technical memorandums and reports Construction administration including, but not limited to, onsite field observation Be called upon to support our design teams in partnership with talented Architects, Engineers and Business Professionals remotely and across our office locations The majority of the time a person in this role will be sitting in an office with limited physical requirements. This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist, and reach. On occasion, individuals will be required to visit a client site to perform site verifications and field surveys.
Your pay
The salary for this position is based on the location/s posted. If you are a candidate living outside of (this region/these regions), we still encourage you to apply as salary ranges may differ across states/cities/job markets.
Expected Range*: $85,000 to $100,000 annually The position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus The actual salary offered for the role will be determined based on a variety of factors including but not limited to; years of experience, licensure status, location, level of job-related knowledge, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law).
